Welcome to the web site of the Free and Open Source Alliance (Singapore) (FOSA). It is a registered society, UEN T09SS0082H. Registered societies are non-profit organizations as defined by the Societies Act under Singapore law. More information about registered societies is available on the web site of the Registry of Societies. Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held every year in June.

FOSA is a community inspired and created organization. It's primary goals are:

• Promote the use of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) and related technologies and practices in Singapore
• Create an alliance of groups, businesses and government bodies that use and develop FOSS in Singapore
• Conduct Software Freedom Day (Singapore), an annual event celebrating and promoting FOSS

We encourage participation in FOSA and contribution to this web site by all interested parties, both in Singapore and abroad.
